J. Lacourse Carpentry is a Custom Home Builder and General Contractor. We build custom homes throughout Renfrew County and the Ottawa Valley including single family homes & duplexes in the Hunter Gate subdivision, with M. Wilson Home Developments of Renfrew, on premium lots on Pinnacle Hill and premier waterfront lots in Carriage Landing on the Ottawa River.

We are also the key custom home builder in High Country Estates, a new development near Calabogie, Ontario.

We offer a “turn-key” approach to custom home building including building plans, lot preparation, foundation, construction, all sub-trades, custom features and landscaping.

We can create full building plans and construction drawings to suit your ideas. Our credentials include BCIN Registered #36797 (required on all new drawings), Qualified designer under sentence 3.2.4.3 (5 of Div C of the building code) and Registered & insured with MMA&H across Ontario.

We offer cement poured foundations (foam block) & ICF Nudura, exterior finishes including wood, stucco, brick, stone, vinyl or steel siding,  Gentek windows & doors, custom flooring from Gaylord Flooring plus custom trim, doors and custom cabinet work – We offer it all!

We are registered in the Tarion New Home Warranty Program, are a qualified GreenON Contractor, a registered R2000 Builder and a Nudura ICF Certified Installer and . Our building and safety training includes WHMIS, First Aid, Hilti Operator, Ladder safety, Genie Lift Operators and basic fall training.
